Mako

Six legged cat-like creatures that probably evolved in Khydean plateau/Meó Basin and they have been domesticated for their long wool which regularly sheds and is of fine silky quality (like an Angora rabbit kinda) and also as agricultural helps (like a cat), eating vermin. They are called Mako which is a meó word /mako/ [ˈmā.kʊ̄].
