Many mythological systems native to Edeto can be traced back to ancient stories that share very similar themes, indicating one common origin. The story goes as follows;
The Sky Father rode The Sun Beast from Haki to Pavala, He hunted primordial beasts.
When the sky father wandered the barren mountains of Pavala, he happened upon the water mother, bathing in a spring
The sky father ravaged the water mother, and in their throes, carpeted the barren Pavalan soil with trees and grass and other small plants
The sun beast did not like the change in colour of pavala, so it sent streaks of fire to attempt to destroy it
