Windward culture, also referred to as Windward civilization and the Windward world, is the heritage of culture, technology, ethics and other means of living that originated in the regions of Nokhta and the Htaevic Rouge and have since spread to regions such as Ivinis, Idiba and Ihyai. The term 'windward' is derived from the fact that this side of Pavala is the side that 'leads' the planet in its orbit around Haki, and thus faces the cosmic 'wind' of space.
