Kol-Kon extinction event
The Kol-Kon (K-K) extinction event was a sudden mass extinction of nearly 60% of all Pavalan life some 45.3 million years ago. It marked the end of the Kol period and the beginning of the Kon period. The primary cause of the event was the impact of the Third World Destroyer asteroid (named for being the third such extinction-causing crater found) on the modern-day border between Ò and Wó in central Házélé.
