The Fihano Plain is a small coastal plain near the corner of Unuvun. It was first settled around 14,000 Y by the Aeridanish, and throughout history has generally maintained sovereignty under many successive nation-states before eventually being integrated into the Nautical Peace as the Free State of Fihano. It has long been a crossroads of shipping on the Hakiwards-side of Unuvun, with the large Lysteriok Bay providing safe haven for merchants and travelers. It has a unique culture and dialect owing to its isolation.

Geography

The Fihano Plain is anchored on the south by the <Wall Range?>. Resembling a peninsula, its north and west coasts are bordered by the Green Sea, while its east coast is sheltered in the Irulenne Inland Sea. The <name> island chain runs off its northeastern coast. Though the plain is relatively flat, its western portion contains low-lying hills that reach upwards of 300 meters <Artifacts of the back arc basin? are they volcanos? look at morro bay>.
